Fast Food for Felines
Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 05:06 Having experienced recent Staff shortages, it has become apparent that fresh, quick, easy to reach meals from the cupboard are a handy edition to any busy Felines' diet.
That's why I make sure there is always a bag of dry food, a couple of tins of gourmet mince and a small rodent in the larder, just in case. Staff should also be reminded to pack some chewy treats for those midnight snacks.
Tortoiseshell Tomcat Tobias would like to know,
'I am a portly Tomcat who finds it difficult to move easily these days – but, many years ago I 'ate out' regularly on a variety of frisky, succulent local vermin . I miss my 'fast food' – where can I find home delivery?'
Alas, Tobias, there are currently no home delivery services for local vermin. You may; however, wish to follow my old Uncle Ulysses lead - he gave mouser training classes to kittens and arranged for their 'homework' to be delivered once a week for 'assessment'. This, you will find provides an excellent ongoing supply of high quality 'fast food'.
Birman Brie enquires,
'My Staff regularly eat 'fast food' – is it worthy of the Feline diet?'
Oh dear Brie! Rarely should any Staff offerings be eaten by a Feline – especially those brought in second hand! Very often those who cannot be bothered to prepare their food, also leave it on display overnight. Avoid day old pizza, chicken or fish – leave these under the couch where they belong!
Puurrfectly yours,
Aunty Holly.
